Pedimento

A pedimento is the Mexican customs declaration filed for every import and export, showing the goods, their tariff classification, value, duties and the customs program used.

It is prepared and filed by a licensed Mexican customs broker. For exports from Mexico to the US the supplier's broker files the export pedimento, while your US broker files the US entry. Errors in classification or value on either side can delay trucks at the border, so buyers should make sure the supplier's documents match the commercial invoice and packing list.
