Calavera — symbol of the bridge between two worlds

Story

Where I Come From and What I Saw

I come from the Czech Republic — a country where industry isn't just a sector, but part of national identity. 'Czech golden hands' is more than a saying. It's a reputation built by generations of precise, reliable, and inventive people.

By the way — the word robot comes from Czech. Karel Čapek first used it in 1920. Industrial thinking is literally in our language.

Through experience at European industrial companies — as a production manager, project manager, and sourcing specialist — I saw firsthand how exceptionally well Central European companies operate. You only truly appreciate it when you see it from the outside.

Via the exotic island of Zanzibar, I eventually made it to Guadalajara — to set up a manufacturing plant for Czech design company mmcité, whose urban furniture can be found in cities around the world. And Mexico got to me right from the start. The positivity, friendliness, energy of the people. A country so diverse and vibrant that I couldn't understand why it had such a bad media image — which does no favours not just to tourist areas, but to industrial companies as well.

Potential business partners write off the Mexican market without ever looking closer. And yet there are factories, capable and hardworking people, and a country full of potential. The biggest barrier isn't price, distance, or language. It's fear of the unknown.

Nearshoring & Mission

The World Has Shifted. Supply Chains Must Adapt.

Global logistics is being rewritten. The model of shipping parts across the ocean and waiting months for delivery is cracking under its own weight. Nearshoring isn't a trend — it's the answer to what offshoring stopped being able to handle: speed, flexibility, and control.

But nearshoring only works when you find the right partner. And the right partner doesn't always show up in the first Google results.

Suconex is a platform built on data, not chance. Where industry meets data. We map industrial suppliers along nearshoring corridors — Mexico for North America, Central and Eastern Europe for Western Europe — and make them accessible to companies looking for them. No intermediaries. No friction.

Nearshoring isn't a leap in the dark — if you know who to turn to.

How It Works

For Buyers and Suppliers

For Buyers

Find suppliers in hours, not weeks — Filter by industry, location, language, and capacity. Every profile includes contact details, description, and portfolio — no registration, no waiting, everything in one place.

For Suppliers — Manage It Yourself

Be visible where decisions are made — Your Suconex profile is your international business card. Manage it yourself, in Czech, English, or Spanish — and reach customers you'd otherwise never get to.

Process Optimization

More efficient production, measurable results — We analyze your production processes and propose concrete changes — from factory layout to material flow management. Not textbook theory, but experience from real operations.

Sourcing & Consulting

From strategy to first order — We help companies with supplier selection and onboarding, nearshoring staffing, and market entry. With experience from both sides of the Atlantic.

Behind the Platform

Who's Building It

Radim Pavlas — Founder of Suconex
Radim Pavlas
Founder, Suconex

Industrial manager with experience in production, project management, and sourcing at European companies. Set up the mmcité manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Mexico — and that experience gave birth to Suconex. An idea to connect two industrial worlds that don't understand each other, even though they could help each other enormously. Suconex is the result of years of work on both sides of the industrial value chain.
