Suconex is a B2B platform connecting industrial buyers with suppliers in nearshoring regions (USA → Mexico, Western Europe → Central & Eastern Europe). The platform is operated by the Suconex team. For privacy inquiries, contact us at admin@suconex.com.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• ·Account data — company name, email address, password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text).
• ·Supplier profile data — company description, country, city, phone number, contact email, website, founding year, number of employees, spoken languages, services offered, logo, profile photo, and gallery images.
• ·Usage data — pages visited, search queries, and interactions with the platform (collected via analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4).
• ·Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and cookies.

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• ·Performance of a contract — to provide you with access to the platform, manage your account, and enable you to create and manage a supplier profile.
• ·Legitimate interests — to improve the platform, prevent abuse, and ensure security.
• ·Consent — for optional analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• ·Legal obligation — where required by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• ·Supabase (database and authentication provider) — data is stored on servers located in the European Union.
• ·Vercel (hosting provider) — processes request data for platform delivery.
• ·Google Analytics — anonymised usage statistics (only with your consent for analytics cookies).
• ·Law enforcement or regulatory authorities — only when required by law.

Supplier profiles with status 'active' are publicly visible on the platform. This includes company name, description, location, contact details, services, and photos uploaded by the account holder. By activating your supplier profile, you agree that this information will be publicly accessible.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is soft-deleted (marked as deleted) and fully removed from public view immediately. Residual data may be retained for up to 30 days for backup and abuse-prevention purposes before permanent deletion.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

• ·Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• ·Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
• ·Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your data. You can also delete your account directly in Account Settings.

• ·Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• ·Right to lodge a complaint — you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
